Together with the PIKA Academy in Semarang, Indonesia, the second lightwood competition for students (FLC.2) has begun. This year the best sideboards made of lightwood will be chosen, which the students are designing and building themselves in groups. PIKA Academy students submitted a total of 11 sideboards during the last two months.
At the moment the online voting is running and you can vote via the website lightwood.org for your favorite sideboard until September 30. The winning group of the online voting has the chance to present their sideboard at the 32nd Trade Expo in Jakarta in October, together with two other groups‘ sideboards that will be selected by an expert jury.
At the fair, all visitors have the opportunity to select one of the three presented sideboards and can submit their vote at the booth of Fairventures and partners. After the fair, the winning group of the best lightwood sideboard will be announced via the website lightwood.org and will be awarded at the PIKA Academy in Semarang.
The expert jury consists of:
